ABOUT MOOR CERAMICS

Moor Ceramics was born out of a passion for clay and craft. 

 

After four years of training, Moor saw the light of day in January 2023. From a local workshop in south-west Flanders, craft products are manufactured with an eye on durability, authenticity and quality. 

 

Soon followed the launch of several first collections. All inspired by natural landscapes and phenomena. The studio runs on the rhythm of nature and works as sustainably as possible using solar energy, rainwater and recycled clay. During the winter months (Oct-March) the studio goes into hibernation but the creative process continues unabated and there is plenty of inspiration and new developments. 

The glazes developed in-house are mainly soft semi-matte earthy tones that exude simplicity and harmony. An ideal mix that encourages slowing down, grounding, letting go and relaxing.

 

Moor puts the craft at the center and works with respect and love for the entire production process. Each piece is handmade, making it not only unique but also extremely functional. A must in our busy daily lives. Our products are offered through the webshop, in our studio (by appointment) and through local events or markets.
